TIME2DRIVE only use fully qualified driving instructors, known as Approved Driving Instructors. ADI's are approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to teach learner drivers for payment.

Other schools may use PDI's (potential driving instructors) who have not completed their training and may have less experience, these instructors will display a pink badge in the windscreen of the car rather than the Green Badge shown on the right that our fully qualified instructors will display.

An ADI must:

* Have held a full driving licence for at least 4 yrs
* Pass a strict Theory test
* Pass a strict driving test
* Pass a CRB government check
* Reach and keep up a high standard of instruction
* Be registered with the DSA
* Display a green ADI badge on the windscreen

You should exercise care when choosing an instructor. Take into account the comments above; ask friends and relatives; choose an instructor who has a good reputation; is reliable and punctual; whose car suits you, and above all, that the instructor suits you.
